(And I don't see why people are complaining about AI. The uploader tagged it as 'ai art' so those who don't want to see it can just do a negative search. And the original art piece was also credited. Not like they tried to pass it off as their own creation)

I actually don't like the term "ai art" because in my opinion the technical ability to fill in the same details that thousands of others have done before is not the artistic part. It's the composition which is still entirely Sleepy Gimp in this case.
There is a 0% chance that with prompting alone you could get even the most advanced generative models to create something close to this. And things like nuanced facial expressions require an actual artist's touch. Comparing this to the original is an excellent example since Sleepy Gimp's faces carry a personality with them and this image loses that.
