While the Sisterhood was growing steadily, and had already outdone more than one goddess, the Master wasn't confident enough to take on a *competent* one yet. So, looking through the history of her reality, he found a shortcut. A point in time where Palutena's soul had been taken by a creature known as the Chaos Kin. It was simple to steal the soul away from it, and put Palutena under the Master's thrall. Needless to say, having resisted her soul being taken for years, she had more than enough willpower to join the high-ranking members. Her playful yet devoted personality was well suited to the Sisterhood. Her tendency not to fight directly makes her prefer to stay by her Masters side at all times, always ready to serve. Between that, her divine power and experience leading an army made her the best at leading invasions.
