I already had four half-naked and hypnotized women dancing across the stage thinking that they were ballerinas. Not exactly the best time to give Katherine a quiet, meditative induction. Evelyn had her already fully dressed for the occasion, so I decided to go with something a little more pompous and hypnotize her before she even made it across the stage.

THE MESMER: Katherine, you hear the unmistakable sound of your Master's voice and you feel the irresistible urge to come to me. You see your friends dancing in mindless ecstasy and you feel yourself becoming more and more like them with every step that you take...

By the time Katherine reached me, she was in a twilight daze. She seemed to try and focus her eyes on me, but kept surrendering herself to a blank stare at nothing in particular. She absentmindedly put her hand on my chest like she was trying to anchor herself while she waited for permission to let her mind and body float away.

THE MESMER: The other ballerinas are feeling ecstasy because the gaze of the audience on their bodies is filling them with more pleasure than they can comprehend. You're becoming aware of it now.

She started to gently dig her fingers into my jacket. Her free hand started lazily and aimlessly running across her chest.

THE MESMER: You're powerless against the pleasure that you feel. All that hypnotized ballerinas can do, all that hypnotized ballerinas want to do, is dance for the audience and drift further and further under my control.

With that, I lifted her hand off my lapel and pulled it upward until her other arm rose with it in unison. I stepped back as the fifth hypnotized ballerina floated away to join the others.
