My comment: A 2nd alt to the parent post, focusing more on the hypnotic computer element. The inspiration in this case was drawing on both the new and old meaning of goon, and I considered the idea of an AI dom / mistress, conditioning people into obedience and turning them into drones, slaves to carry out their machine controller's will in the physical world.
In particular, besides the concept of the tainted energy drinks, this plays more into the idea of serial hypnotized hypnotists, watching latex clad cam-girl drones while being programmed to become just like them.
Maybe a little story bit another time, already spent a bunch of time posting these up, and next is a bunch of goodies from JustSketchingViolets!
