This is from the 1997 Fox Studios movie Anastasia. Rasputin has evil magic that he's using to try to get Anastasia to throw herself off the boat in a storm, but he's foiled by Dimitri (whose parts I mostly cut out of this clip).

If anyone would prefer a version without the demon part, I can cut that out and post that version as well.

Say what you will about Don Bluth, but the man knew how tondo creepy and scary in animation.

Indeed if it was evil or meant to be scary you can bet Don was going to draw that shit to be sinister and scary as fuck. I mean damn he made a freakin WAVE look like a demon in the first american tail movie.

Wow, never knew the lovely Anastasia dabbled, well did some sleepwalking zombie walk in the movie, and looking beautiful too, most importantly! Then again I didnt grew up watching the movie way back when I was a wee young fool! But wow is this kinda illusion kind of hypnosis quite sinister and dangerous; on this stormy boat and whatever, such scary trickery!
