Pretty sure after cloning Ridley, Mother Brain and, on multiple occasions, Metroids, one variant of which had its resistance to cold temperatures removed, making what was already arguably the most dangerous predator in the Universe nearly unkillable, Samus already believed the Galactic Federation were fools, no hypnosis required. But hey, whatever helps turn her into Raven Beak's (or whoever's) thrall is good by me.
