This is the ending of a Penlight fan fiction series created by TDL! Faced with a difficult choice, Kyou tries to mitigate the harm he caused with his penlight and attempt to free Nozomi from her shackles...

Definitely didn't expect Kyou to get out of this one unscathed. I expected him to just remove the shackles and to get beaten to a pulp.
I'd say it's among the most feel-good ending of Penlight (though Penlight doesn't have a lot where Kyou hasn't emotionally scarred someone till the end of their life)

Ultra rate kyou W, can't believe that man actually managed to not only own up to his selfish stupidity but also step down and leave the girls alone completely in this timeline.

I kinda figured that due to most of this coming out of ignorance rather than maliciousness- and that in unscrambling this the outcome for the girls was better/healthier than it was previously- Kyou could just about scrape out with just 'being alone' like before. Maybe a little more isolated than before, but also a shade wiser.

Obviously that's probably a little better than his actions deserve given how reckless he was being with his petplay suggestions, but then who's to say what other consequences the boy will have to endure in the future? I wouldn't be surprised if he had Nozomi explain to the teachers what the anklet thing was about and that Kyou also got chewed out by the faculty and some black marks put on his record.

I mean, I've watched enough IRL hypnosis to know that the proper way to "undo" hypnosis is actually through hypnosis. Obviously this being fiction and the tist being a dumbass, it's not going to be a perfect 1:1 but it's not hard to imagine Kyou being able to backtrack enough that everyone comes out more or less okay.
