Master: I don't know how to feel about this but considering circumstances, i'm just going to assume their one of those crappy landlords that keep raising the rent and move on.

@Maninthemask A great many people have no choice, simply because buying costs more than they can afford at any one time. It's like the old saying about the shoes: A poor person can only buy cheap shoes, but ends up paying more over time than a rich person would because they can't afford to invest in shoes of good quality, so they need to buy the crappy shoes over and over again.

I'd only intended for the landlord thing to be a throwaway joke, but it seems to be resonating with people. I might incorporate Wendy's hypnotized landlord as a character.

^ that isnt really true as one who has lived in a low income house hold and used to rent. My family saved where we could eventually moving out to a more rural area where got a house, and my parents both got better jobs. Unless your literally scrapping for dimes you can always save, or look for better employment, its just most people dont want to.

@Maninthemask The flat denial of saying 'this isn't really true' for such a widespread struggle that affects so many people is very dismissive, I would appreciate it if you would drop this topic now. You just described how things fell into place for you in a way that didn't put you through that kind of hardship. That puts you in no position to imply people less fortunate are just lazy.

Hypnohub doesn't have a block users feature, but I've successfully fended off people who were saying hurtful things in the comments by using my leverage as the sole writer of this story. With that in mind, please drop this topic now.

weird tangent to stumble onto, but I think we can all agree with the sentiment "May bad Landlords have bad tenants, and may good tenants have good landlords"
