The concept of someone going from fully awake to deeply in trance in an instant can be pretty hot. However, I agree that it becomes boring in comic format if it's done with just two panels, as seeing the facial expressions of the subject is part of the fun, and it feels like that fun was skipped.
So it's best if the comic takes the time to show some of the in betweens, such as in post 211502.
Or if it's an animation instead of a comic, such as in post 118018.
