Lillie didn't believe the rumors. The maids around the new resort are brainwashed? It was absurd! Then, she recognized one of them as a woman who had just checked in the other day. When asked, the woman denied ever checking in, claiming to have worked her her entire life. Concerned, Lillie followed the woman to the employee's lounge. There, she made a shocking discovery. Numerous women were being routinely hypnotized by the resort owner's Malamar! Suddenly, a chloroform rag was placed on Lillie's mouth. She struggled to no avail and was brought into the lounge. Several days passed before Lillie emerged from the room. Her eyes were blank and she now wore a maid outfit identical to the others. Her vacant stare and blissful smile revealed her to have fallen prey to the resort's machinations. Now, she was a mere servant, programmed to return to the lounge should her conditioning begin to weaken.
