Oh yeah, just insane how it caught fire like that, my favorite examples/art was done by ganbari mascarpone. Even before they posted art, reading their live tweets of playing through the dlc was insane, still sort of holding out for more mochi art from them but itll probably be a long wait. It also got me posting on the hub, so theres something that I will always remember it fondly for. The event itself was fun although short, truly though much like the rest of scarlet and violet it was the characters that made it good, especially carmine, think we should all thank her/the dev that decided she would be the one to introduce the event in a spectacular and humiliating fashion. Only real complaint is that the event was a little short and that the mochi dance isnt used afterwards, for such a unique animation its only used for the event, it isnt even a player emote. Wish it couldve been used on other characters too, wouldve been fun to make other characters mochi dance, especially though who normally wouldnt like mela or rika, very cool composed characters made to embarrass themselves wouldve been so good to see. Maybe some sort of mechanic with the synchro machine can be added where you can shoot the mochi and when used on an npc they start to mochi dance! God didnt mean for this to be a whole paragraph but I guess its just how much I loved this event, anyway Ill still be looking for mochi dance art whenever I can or just mochi mayhem related art as well. Love this trend, there isnt a page on my post that doesnt have at least one mochi dance. Cant wait for a repeat event in masters and glad to have new favorite mythical in pecharunt, wonder if well ever get another mind control pokemon we have so many, though because of that I would love to see more events like this!

Oh man didnt even mention the music, and yeah that definitely helped! A very fun and goofy remix of the regular kitakami battle theme. Really emphasized how silly and humiliating the dance is.
