What the hell kind of jank-ass MTL did you use to to get that? The baddie's got the hypno powers, not Kirin, and "Side Breast Battle Shrine Maiden" is just nonsense.
As nonsensical as it sounds "side Breast Battle Shrine Maiden" is genuinely in the Japanese (yokochichi sen miko), except I would probably use side-boob rather than "side breast".
yokochichi - literally "aside breast" so side of breast or side-boob sen - literally battle/fight miko - literally "medium/shaman woman" so shrine maiden
This seems to be some kind of superhero type or something, that when the information about them was revealed the villain was allowed to set up a trap of some kind that perfectly let them capture the side-boob battle miko who in this case is Kirin.
Also I do see how that first part could get mistranslated, I mean sure still wrong, but I think most MTL would have some kind of hiccup there.

Oh yeah totally meant to include a disclaimer about not knowing the source material and about how some of these could possibly be explained through that. Only got into Gunvolt really recently with X (Luminous Avenger or something in English, idk I'm playing in JP)
