I couldn't think of a good one for Wendy to answer here, but I think hypnotized Q&A has some good potential. Facing a sub with an obscenely personal question and having them immediately give a detailed and helpful answer, it's an underrated way to show how deep the mind control goes.

I'd love to do more with this concept later. Maybe I'll hold a fourth-wall-breaking Q&A where I invite commenters to write questions for the characters to answer.

I agree that there's a lot of fun potential there!

Unconnected from that, I'm enjoying them spinning their wheels a little bit as we get toward the resolution as it's building up the internal characterization more. Depending on what the master does, whether they are passively moved by people, or start taking bold action regarding their expertise and what, theoretically, they can do, is also interesting e.g. if they start relearning what they knew for brainwashing and the technology and then confronting why they became that way in the first place is a neat idea. (Also, to be very clear, not trying to backseat narrate, just excited by the story unfolding.)
