Please don't "nest" child posts like that. It makes it SO hard to look through the whole sequence. Make all subsequent posts in a sequence child posts of the first image in the sequence.

Wait what?! I find it so much easier that way. You just go to the last one and then go through the parent chain and then when you want to go to the next one you just go back a page via your browser's keyboard shortcut (alt left is the default for chromium and firefox)

I agree with anon, this way feels much more intuitive

The lesson here is to use pools.

Is what I would be saying if pools wasn't broken by one single line of easily fixable code.

Are you talking about even with the userscript there's a feature missing? Or the fact that you can't just hit left and right by default to move through them. Also yeah while pools are objectively better (other than my personal key shortcut for going back is ctrl left which is the same as the userscripts macro to go to the first one in the pool which takes precendence) they're just way more of a burden of creation, waht with making names and descriptions. I know I always struggle with how to format them, and spend like 20 minutes looking for old pools of mine for inspo.
