Now introducing Amaranth, aka Anthy!

She's been job-hunting for a while, so when Missy's hypnosis store started hiring, she signed up!

Sure she doesn't really believe in hypnosis herself- and even if it was, only silly, weak-willed people get hypnotized...

Hope you all enjoy!~

Hypnotized to be weaker to hypnosis

Does that actually work?

Yep, basic conditioning. You've gotten in once, now you have your backdoor, the training, for them to fall easier and faster every time. Whether tied to a trigger or not, but yeah, perfectly normal and fun to see the changes~

Speaking of it IRL, kinda?

All hypnosis makes you better at hypnosis- Experiencing hypnosis is a skill, and so you get better at it over time.

This includes both going under easier, but also resisting it easier. Despite what I and others say in fantasy, in real life hypnosis, like any other skill, gives you more options the better at it you are.

So... yes? You can definitely make someone temporarily ultra-susceptable to hypnotic language and tones of voice with hypnosis, that's easy. Long term would be harder, but just the act of hypnotizing them repeatedly would do that on its own, so also it'd be easy.

Depends on your specific desired results, really.

To answer the "how hard is it to resist hypnosis" question, the answer depends.

Hypnosis isn't like... magnetic. At least not for most people at first. It can feel like it later, once you've been hypnotized a lot of times, but only if you want it to. It's a control thing, remember- the better practiced you are, the better you are at resisting when you want to.

If you don't want to be hypnotized, like really don't want to, you can't be. Hypnosis IRL is a willing state- even if you get put under and then given a command you don't like, most people are able to easily bring themselves out of it if they're upset or uncomfortable.

Now sometimes you'll see "Skeptics getting hypnotized!", but that's different. There's a difference between being skeptical but agreeing to do it, and not wanting to do it. Many people who go up on stage and say they're skeptics do want to be hypnotized- they're just not sure it's real yet.
