During Boruto's story mode. Nanashi gets too attached to Boruto so she is doubting to follow Merz anymore. So Merz reveals that this was expected and for that reason he give Nanashi an special Hair Ornament designed with Ninja Tech that will Mind Control her and she is forced to fight Boruto.
