In this episode of Wakfu, Evangelyne is hypnotized and taken away by Vampyro.

I was going to use the English dub, but I took one listen to it and said "You know what? French is fine."

So he hypnotizes her then "steals her shadow"? But then just doesn't bother hypnotizing the guy before trying to steal his shadow? Weird logic

There better be her corrupted/transformed into a vampire of this

I think he was trying to use her as a vessel to resurrect his wife or something like that? Later in the episode, he's got Evangelyne floating in the air with black markings on her body, but I didn't think it worth clipping.

I can explain. In this episode, Vampyro was originally just some normal guy. However, over time he became corrupted by a type of demon that resides inside of objects called a shushu. He became something like a vampire and abducted Evangelyne to be used as a host for said demon.(the redhead guy also has a shushu but he's got it mostly under control)
