Is it me, or does this almost feel a little wrong?

Like, Katarina has such a distinct personality that seeing her so subdued seems off.

^this^ and also for this particular picture if Bakarine was her usual cheerful self there would be no evidence of mind control, and then the illustration wouldn't belong on this site.
