I personally would love to start making my own manips (both drawn and real), but lack the photoshop skills to do so- is there/could there be a place (perhaps even this thread?) where the more accomplished manippers share some of the tricks of the trade? How to get the eyes just right (with more variety than just the blur tool), tweak the expressions, add sparkles, spirals, or whatever tickles your fancy, stuff like that

I 'unno if anyone else will comment regarding this... but I redraw/recolour all that I edit [which yes, is normally just the eyes XD] Granted, I haven't done much >>

Also, I don't use Photoshop. I Hate the program. I use Paint Tool Sai.

Before I go though, I'll say this. In the long run, it's a learned skill. You gotta practice. Find what works for you. For me, I use the eyedropper tool and the pen. I ABUSE the damn eyedropper for colours, and I just recolour everything that needs to be editted.

For you, it could be something completely different.

I've been learning the manip trade myself, lately, and the best place to go for that sort of thing is deviantArt.

You can't swing a cat in there without hitting a dozen Photoshop tutorials, and all of those techniques can be applied to hypno manips.

Rather than doing what everyone else here does, you should look through all those and see what new ideas you can glean off deviantArt and bring into the hypno manip community.
