Posting the "Premium" work of disappeared artists
So, I have a few purplesaurus pics he used to charge deviantArt points for. I don't know how many of us have these, and these days that guy's page is silent as the grave, so there's no way to buy them from him.

They're basically nude-versions of some non-nude hypno artworks.

Should I post them here?

I don't want to get in trouble... but they're nice. =P

My general motto is, "if they aren't for sale anymore, they're fair game". Tbh, I'm not sure what our DMCA policy is like now that we've moved. I think it's just, as with anything that's posted here, if we get asked to remove it, we have to.

What about content that still is for sale? Just post it until the artist complains?

Of course not. What I meant to say was, if we get DMCA'd, I'm not sure how much trouble we're in. Paysite and other for-sale content is still off-limits. And if we get asked to take something down by the creator of the work, we're obligated to comply, regardless of its availability.
