Hi everuone.

So I've teanslated a couple Japanese pictures on this site, and around last year I was hoping to keep the "translation request" tag under 1000. Obviously that has not happened. Now I would translate every picture on this site... If I ever had enough time to get on the computer. So if anyone else can translate, it would help alot. Even just using google translate works; I can improve on the rough translation using my phone. It'd really ease my OCD.

Wouldn't that just encourage more people to dump whole manga(s) on here whenever they wanted something translated? A majority of the images with the tag are the result of these dumps already.

I'll take a look at the tag in a bit and try to whittle the number down. I know some images are already translated and person just forgot to change the tag, some images are tagged incorrectly and some have simple enough words that I can understand without google translate/jisho.

Yeah, i'd say the first step would be going through and making sure to clear the tag out, such that it's only applied to the appropriate images.

The second step is paying me to translate the others. 1000 images for $900 US, a real bargain! :-P

No, not for Japanese it doesn't. At all. I throw stuff into it for fun after I've already translated it and get the most hilariously preposterous stuff... the clear majority of the time, it doesn't even get the general idea across.
