I can see it as a character arc. A hypno-tan, frustrated with all the people taking advantage of her, starts to try to turn the tables and become a hypnodom.

Of course, she keeps accidentally hypnotizing herself, but she gets there.

If I had to write a character for her, I think I'd give her magic hypno-powers that requires her to enter a suggestible trance to recharge them. But to answer the question I think of her as 70/30 dom/sub.
