Not that I think you're spinning tales or something, but I don't think you've ever actually confirmed this...

Have you tried a different browser, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?

Heck I use Internet Explorer and it works perfectly.

Yes, but do you use IE8?

Nah. IE10.

Exactly. I think the problem is IE versions 8 and before. Quite a few changes were made to how the browser works starting at IE9, so 8 works in a more archaic manner, which may be incompatible w/ the hub's software.

If he actually confirms having tried a different browser, we will be able to rule this out.

I apologize for not reading, but he can't update?

All good. Without going back and rereading to be sure, I believe he still uses Windows XP. If I recall, IE9+ are all 64-bit programs designed for Windows Vista and later, where as Windows XP cannot use 64-bit programs. Or something like that.

Yeah I'm using XP, I personaly like it more than windows 8 but im not going to go into that detail.
But I think I know what the problem is! I turned off java script on my mobile device and thumbnails showed up again. So I think its a java based problem, because that shouldnt have worked unless it was.

I...huh...
So, turning off something that this site needs fixed this site.
Well, I give up. XD
Glad it's working, though.

No thumbnails are showing up when I go to the posts section, nor in user uploads, or favorites. So this basically means I cant view anything. Anyone know why this is or how to fix it?

I am also having this problem. It's been going on for the past MONTH. Its happened before but fixed it self after a few days. Clearing the most recent history visits to the site and maybe cookies seemed to help but that no longer helps either.

I am using IE 8 on XP.

I was getting ready to start a thread myself when I searched and I was not the only one having this problem.

The problem certainly seems to be IE8, then, since, so far, only users using that browser have reported this problem. Can you try Firefox, Chrome, or some other browser? See if that works for you? If it is IE8 being the problem, it's not likely to be fixed. The developer for this software may have just dropped IE8 support. Granted, it could also just be an IE8-specific bug that can be fixed, so, either way, it would be nice to know if IE8 is actually the problem or not.

Are you aware that there is Windows Vista, 7 and even 8 32-bit, right? Or XP 64-bit? :P

The truth is that Microsoft says it's too hard to make IE9 work on XP, IE10 work on Vista, and someday they might say it's too hard to make IE12 work on Win7. At the same time, Firefox and Chrome work pretty much on every open platform out there, and never complain about it being "too hard". Marketing tactics from Microsoft.

By the way, IE8 is old. You should not run it under any circumstance, like McAfee or a Bing toolbar.

And as a web developer, yeah, you can fix IE8's bugs. It's still much better than IE6, and you could fix most of the bugs for that one. But, why? Just to keep the worst browser on the market living on life support? That's just not interesting to open-source developers.

You skipped XP?? Wow. It was like the most long-lived and awesome (at the time) release of Windows. What, did you skip from ME to Vista and now to 8? That would be funny :)

To download other browsers if you don't have them on a flash drive ;)
