See, the way ponies are drawn, the easiest way to tell their sex is by looking at the face shape. Therefore, I'm not really sure if this is supposed to be gender-bending or what. The white band implies that something's changing, though this implies that the transformation either toes from the bottom up or that it's turning a lady pony into a stallion, which is rather rare in the TG biz.

Or I could check the source and find out that it's nothing of the sort. That's fun, too.
