There used to be a really big site exclusively for TG captions. It's gone now. But I do have a fat folder of saved content.

CHALLENGE, if I recall correctly, was like a (fictional) ultra-realistic video game (where you get transported into the game or something) and just about every player got TGed.

It was pretty popular on the site (as in, a lot of the captions were based around it.)

The name of the captioner... RobinBehindTheInternet? Something like that. As far as I'm aware, they haven't popped up on any other sites.

EDIT: Thanks to sethren, we now have the captioner's tumblr. robinbehindthenet.tumblr.com/

Hm, is there any more of this stuff or a tag? Seems interesting enough.

There were quite a lot of them (understatement.) Unfortunately, I don't have too many of them saved.

EDIT: Sethren directed me to the original captioner's tumblr page. Here's a link to all her CHALLENGE captions: robinbehindthenet.tumblr.com/tagged/challenge

I dunno, based on the contents of the story, I'm actually left thinking that Angus is the one being a jerk. "I trust you, as always." sounds way more sincere and meaningful than simply "Thank you". Also, from my MMO experience, an ungrateful ally is one who just demands free stuff be made for them, yet Jesse apparently provides Angus with the raw materials needed for his crafting requests. I usually liked getting those kinds of requests because it meant that I could get some crafting EXP without having to spend my own money or materials.

My conclusion: Angus doesn't want to admit that they just wanted to have Jesse as a slavegirl, so they convinced themselves that Jesse deserved it through rationalization.
