The Bionicle thread.
So, I usually have a reason for these threads. Not today. Anyone else like Bionicle? I thought it was pretty cool. Ice is always the best. The Piraka were cool. <<www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaLX6pRtM8I|This is one of the best shorts I've seen>> especially considering how unnecessary it was, <<www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnNJfvBL4mw|as is it's sister.>>

Is that song from vocalist from Evanescense? O_o
It was cool, but... really, really terrible when you know full Bionicle lore. Addition of Takadox using his powers on
Second Hydraxon
was nice touch, tho.

Other examples of mind control:
- Kraata. It was even used in Bionicle Movie.
- Corrupted Kanohi (masks) given to Rahi (animal) by Teridax (known to most as *the* Makuta, despite fact that Makuta are whole species, as we can see at Phantoka/Mistika arc if our only info is from sets)
-
Matoran balls that got Matorans from Metru Nui to Mata Nui removed their memories.
- Mask of Control, Makuta's Kanohi in reboot.
-
Kualus as Toa (not rahaga) had mask that let him control almost any Rahi (animal)
And of course biggest mind control in whole history of bionicle... (and no, not a spoiler)
- Gladorians and reboot arcs: Whatever happened in order to make Lego designers think that Hero Factory style elements (starting with arms) are good idea.

Oh, right. What are nyour biggest sets?
Here it's either Nocturne (This big, glow-in-dark 7th barraki) or Takanuva on his bike. (forgot name of bike, sowwy)

I remember Bionicles. It was one of the things that formed my childhood. Though I'm not very amused by the changes done by the reboot and actually wished that they finished the storyline for the original story.

Was way into this series as a kid, but it got a little stale once we got the third(?) iteration of Toa (who were regular citizens transformed into Toa through some ritual that came out of nowhere... ugh). The last sets I recall getting were the Rahkshi, which kind of disappointed me. The Bohrok/Bahrag were my faves on account of the mechanical parts and transformation factor, and the next few species came up lacking in comparison as far as creativity/variety was concerned.

Bohrok were indeed great.

That wasn't an ritual. If Nyay recall correctly, these stones simply kick-started the transformation. In world of Mata Nui any Matoran can become Toa, and Toas later can become Turagas.

Majority of original story was finished in online sources. In fact, INRC there were pieces of lore popping out as late as 2014/2015.

My personal favourite was Takanuva's travel through dimensions.

Nah, it's a group called Cryoshell. They did a bunch for Bionicle, Creeping in my soul, closer to the truth, Bye Bye Babalon, and later rerecorded them for commercial release, with covers of Face me and Gravity Hurts. I'd recommend picking the album up, but they're still inferior to the original version IMO.

To be fair, in the lore, the Barraki short is a vision given to Dekar when he finds the mask and becomes Hydro Axonn. (TTV joke, praise Solus.)

Biggest set? Only THE biggest set, Vezon and Kardaz. Made it a goap to collect 05-06 because they're my personal favourite years. I still have a good collection of other years though. Every ice set, for one. HOLY SHIT FUCK IRNAKK HE WAS A BITCH TO GET.

Also, totally betting that G2 is a continuation and we just don't know it yet. The mask of time is hidden, the Nuva symbols are there, it's totally happening.

Please Lego, give us Takanuva, Master/Uniter/Fucker of Light. He's the Super Special extra member! You gave us Rocka in Hero Factory? Come on!

That'd be Vezon and Fenrakk. Fenrakk is the spider. Double Pack. Vezon is the 7th, silver Piraka, final boss of Bionicle Heroes, Based Greg's favourite character, and I stole his origin for my dumb bullshit self-insert mega crossover head story. Vezon and Kardaz is a rerelease packaging Vezon and Fenrakk, Axonn and Brutaka, the main draw being they have a combination model, the Kardaz dragon (plus a cannibalized Vezon) which is actively the largest Bionicle set. Fenrakk digivolves into it.

Also holy shit you are just into everything I am.

No Lenny.

All the Lenny.
