Did you happen to see The Visit? Cause that's exactly what Shyamalan does in that. It's not a complete return to form for him, but along with Wayward Pines, its a step in the right direction.

Unfortunately, Darkman use to be on Netflix but no more. But the film is still pretty great. It's by Sam Raimi and has Liam Neeson as an scientist turned face swapping super being bent on revenge on those who did him wrong. It almost serves as a precursor as to what Raimi would bring to his Spider-Man movies years later, though I'd argue Drakman is the better film.

I haven't seen The Visit yet, though I do plan on doing so. The only movies of his that I haven't seen are that, After Earth, and The Last Airbender. And I won't be watching those last two for obvious reasons. >.>

...and I completely forgot about Wayward Pines. I had written it off as a bad attempt at Twin Peaks for him, but I may give it a chance after all.

My personal favorites are Unbreakable, Watchmen, The Dark Knight, X-Men Days of Future Past/X2, Darkman and Hellboy 1 and 2. Also love the first two Blade movies.

I hardly would consider watchmen being a superhero movie(if you know what i talk about) spiderman 2 from a cinematical standpoint is a jewel (remember the scene on which it tries to save people on a burning building withou superpowers) and totally forgot deadpool and hellboy(is that even a superhero?)

The way I see it, superhero movies and films based on comics overlap for me. And besides, the characters of Watchmen did use to be superheroes/vigilantes before the government came in and put a stop to their activities (except for Rorschach. Stubborn son of a bitch).

Well good for you. I'm just much more pickier about superhero/comic book movies than others.

Anyway, let's get this topic back on track before we go off it any further.

If you don't feel at least something during that scene, you are not human. At all.

Yeah everything is right on that scene. and the velociraptors where scary when feather debates where not wars.
abd the t-rex vs velociraptors scene is awesome. the only plothole i caught was the t-rex entering the museum.

Plus, the Watchmen are homages to the Charlton heroes of the golden/early silver age. Nite Owl is bases on Blue Beetle: Ted Kord, Rorshach is based on The Question, Doctor Manhatten is based on CAPTAIN Atom, not to be confused with the shrink guy. On Watchmen, I think it's the most spectacullarly tragic film I've ever seen. Such devotion to the source material, shot for shot, line for line, AND THEN YOU FUCK UP THE ENDING?!? What the hell, Snyder! Next you'll make Batman and Superman psychopaths!

Also holy shit, you guys read DC Rebirth? The new 52 was caused by DOCTOR MANHATTEN! alsothecomedianmightbethejokerwhat

Well that took fucking forever.

I swore there was another comic character named Darkman, who had a sick ass design, and I needed to read one day. For the love of me, I could not find him, and just kept running into Darkman. Looking for obscure Marvel heroes did cause me to stumble across his armour group, allowing me to find DarkHAWK. But yeah. <<www.toyark.com/attachments/9108d1318565690-wokascdh.jpg|He looks pretty cool. His villains look cooler. Mainly based off of that.>>

Just watched Michael Bay's 13 Hours. It's not Pain and Gain or The Rock, but its a sincerely made, intense as shit war flick. I feel like Bay is slowly getting better and better as a director and I REALLY fucking hope he gets away from the Transformers franchise sooner rather than later.
