Earthbound was pretty fucked though. So much so that you don't even have to look for holes, since they don't even pretend to hide. The part where you rescue Paula from the cult was rather eerie.

Wouldn't put it past Nintendo, some of the stuff in the Pokemon games is pretty fukken dark when you stop to think about it. You know the pokedex isn't at all true the information is written based on tales made by people,hence the ghist type pokemon are able of breeding the only supernatural thing on pokemon is the marowaks mother.
Hypno is stated to feed on dreams as most psychic type pokemon seem to ,and ghosts.
and even if pokemon are dangerous, humans are the dominant species since most psychic types have weak muscles.
