Has anyone strapped a spiral to their face yet?
I mean, VR is taking off at the moment, right? So has anyone started beaming a spiral straight into their face? I'm curious, considering Waverun has gotten me seriously into this whole self-hypnosis thing. (Shut the hell up Zelda, I don't care, it feels too good.)

Lex did this in one of his most recent sessions. He used it on Kayla and it worked pretty well actually.

Is it strange that when I first saw this thread I thought of you for a split second.

By the way that avatar works for everything.

Don't you have better things to look at in VR? For example hypnohub.net/post/show/24515/

I do have a Oculus DK1 at home. It's actually the office DK1 but I borrowed it and they haven't asked for it back yet

I've done it before, used an mp3 that has to do with staring at said spiral. Really worked out very well

Since there's literally nothing else in your peripherals all your focus goes on the spiral and whatever your listening to. *jontron 10/10

You stole an Oculus.

Is it stealing when they know where it is and they can ask for it back at any time? Nope. That's borrowing

Not that they would. The DK1 is terrible. Such a low resolution screen. Even the latest Oculus is disappointing IMO. I've used a Vive which was really impressive but costs way too much. Maybe I need to use them more but I really don't see VR taking off as it is right now

I'd rather steal a Vive. They cost more.

I thought VR was neat but only when I saw what people are doing with the Vive did I think it was genuinely enticing. That was the first VR device I actually looked up the price more.

Since it's the first iteration of "something that actually looks good" it's probably 2 generations behind being actually good, so at that price I definitely have to pass. But I am super duper psyched about buying my first VR stuff 5-6 years from now.
