I started making some wiki entries for copyrights and whatever, but I wanna ask: do you guys actually want people to make wiki entries for copyright and character tags, or is it just clutter? I think it's kind of nice to have (preferably concise) entries on site for people who may not be familiar with a given series, but you could always just search it on the Danbooru wiki, or Wikipedia for that matter.

I had always thought about doing it one day when I was really bored.

I've debated touching on the wiki, like you said petal, it would really help with unfamiliar series. I don't know about you guys, but I like being able to do everything on one site rather than have 3 different sites to look up something. :B

Oh, by the way, petal, you can't make external links the way you're trying to. When you use the brackets, you're telling the site to look for a wiki page with that name. You have to make external links by just pasting the URL. I fixed the ones you made so far.

Man, this is making me want to make some wiki pages for characters and copyrights, but petal's doing such a damn good job with the pages he's made that I almost wanna let him do them all. :P

Don't know how I missed this post last night. Yeah, I noticed your changes and figured out what I was doing wrong. Is there no way to alias external links then?



Aww, thanks :) I wouldn't mind seeing some sample of the style you have in mind, though. I've been trying to keep them concise (not my strong point!) and relevant to the fetish.

e: Also, I apologize if my attempts to prescribe how some character/copyright tags are used is presumptuous. I find that kind of thing useful, so I've been basing it on how the tag seems to have been used in the past/is used on Danbooru.

Not that I can see. Aliasing appears to only work for internal links (specifically, wiki links).



I can't really think of a better way to do it than how you've been doing it, which is why I was tempted to just let you do them all (or as many as you can before it drives you nuts. :P). I'm not great at keeping things concise, either. Especially if it's a series/character that I really like.

Actually, there is, but it's not in the help files. I actually found this in yande.re's help files. :P It happens to work here too.

Type this (without spaces):

And it will result in:
