Tbh I have mixed feelings about "learning someone else's style." Sure you can take lotta inspiration from it, but to try and learn to draw like that guy... I just don't see it happening.

As I've repeatedly told Waverun here, go get a sketchbook, and draw some people + places outside somewhat loosely to at least get ya started.

Loomis's books are a PAIN IN THE ASS for a beginner to understand. Try Proko instead.
