Say, I was wondering, if I was to commission someone an artwork featuring our new awesome mascot, it'd be all cool?

Anything you should know? Like what? She's got long, black hair that curls at the ends, and a long, spiral ahoge that sticks out from the top of her head. Blue eyes. She wears only an oversized yellow long sleeve shirt with spirals over her breasts, and panties. (So far, there aren't many pics showing her panties. Most pics either have the shirt hanging down over her crotch area or only show her from the waist up. I believe our counters have pink panties, and one of Hypnofood's pics gives her pink and white striped panties). Her bust size is variable (KinkyLoli's version has modest breasts, while Hypnofood's tends to be larger).

We don't really have much besides her physical description at this point. However, since I consider her to be a personification of this community (and therefore, hypnofetishism) as a whole, I imagine she could be a switch. That is to say, either a dom or a sub, depending on what one wants her to be.

Maybe we'll come up with more information about her one day, but I'm not sure how much detail we really need.

Of course, if I do get something with her I'll share over here ; )

So, let's use this thread to talk about our adorable mascot, Hypno-tan. We have her physical design pretty much locked-down, but we don't really know anything else about her yet.

We can, I think, assume that she loves hypnosis/MC (being kind of a personification of our fetish and all). What else? Is she just a sub, or does her pendulum swing both ways? (XD) What of her personality?

Let's have a nice, friendly discussion about her, and maybe flesh her out a little bit more.

I think that she like be sub but dom too... Makes sense.
But nevertheless she need have a real personality, like unique (I don't mean "ohh please, be more creative", no, just something that make she be... she).
Like... She have a special love by bondage, for example.

She should have a sort of changing fetish based on who she's with to appease them. Maybe like a shapeshifter (too a certain extent, not deviating from her basic image too much). That would definitely enhance her hypnotic abilities.

Personally I wouldn't want too many details locked down on her personality. Keep things more open ended, you know?

That being said, ever since I first saw her I figured her ahoge is actually hypnotic. Also, with the works by Zyii and Hypnofood, I always saw her as a very peppy, energetic person.

Yeah, I agree. I also don't want to say that she has any special attachment to another fetish, since we don't want anyone outside a specific niche to feel less attached to her.



lol. One of Hypnofood's pics sure seems to indicate that, doesn't it? I don't know how I feel about that, personally. Kinda makes her seem like a fetish-y angler fish. Though, if she's really into hypnosis to the point of being an ace hypnotist herself, she could probably use just about anything to hypnotize. Her eyes, her voice, her hair, her boobs (hey, her shirt does have spirals over them).



Which is actually kinda funny, because, as I remember it, a lot of her design cues were supposed to make her seem tired. Her clothes are essentially sleepwear, and her hair is unkempt, like someone who just woke up.

That said, I do imagine her being playful and fun-loving. Even KinkyLoli's pic of her (the one from the banner) gives her a bit of naughty playfulness, with that sort of "come hither" look. She's a fetishist, after all, so it makes sense for her to have a bit of a naughty streak. :3

Well, Vocaloids essentially have no personality at all, yet one can somehow "tell apart" whether some act is "Rin-like" or "Miku-like", just based on:

* What they look like (blonde and short = more innocent, green hair = daring?)
* What they have done already (especially their music videos)

So what I'd say is, let's let the personality evolve just like her looks did. Let's see in what positions she is placed in, and fap in unison.

Also, I'd refrain from imposing a detailed written background on her, and make it more open to imagination as to how she ends up in various situations, so that one pic doesn't compete with the other in describing her.

In other words, if she's hypnotizing someone, who knows, maybe that was because she was hypnotized to do that before. And if she's being hypnotized, it could be a revenge for hypnotizing someone else, etc.

The only consistent bit of personality that I think we can impose on her is that she's quite happy with all sorts of hypno-play (I don't know, I imagine her having fun always).

I'm actually glad to hear people saying this. To be honest, I wasn't keen on fleshing her out very much, myself. I agree that we should let the community have fun with her and see how she evolves. I think we can all agree that she's a lover of hypnosis and fun, and that's all that matters. Leave her open to individual interpretation. I'd actually like to see some stories (or even better, comics) featuring her just to see what ideas others could come up with for her.
