There was going to be a The Jungle Book world in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, but it got cancelled both times.

I guess it was hard trying to figure out the heartless boss and other stuff while creating the game and making that world fit in. But it's always good to see more of Kairi and Aqua

I don't know why it was cancelled in Birth by Sleep. But in the first Kingdom Hearts they had already gotten the rights to use Tarzan and ultimately decided that two jungle worlds would have been redundant.

Both of their expressions are so god damn adorable. Kairi has the cutest smile and Aqua has the best dazed expression. Kudos Sebastian, this is a masterpiece.

Part of me wonders if they're intentionally avoiding the Jungle Book due to the fact it would mean basically turning fetish art into real life (I.e. a scene where Kaa hypnotizes a main, and likely female character). Considering how much the animators for MLP:FiM caught onto the idea of a black demograph of hypnophiles, Disney might not want to bring attention to that side for non-JB fetishists, lest it raise some questions. But that's just what I think.
