 | A Japanese manga/anime take on ringlets, this hair style consists of very large descending curls, usually one on either side of the head. Known in Japanese media as "tate rouru" (縦ロール, lit. "vertical roll"). In manga and anime, this style most often appears on blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls from Europe, especially when a very sexy or "moe" look is desired.
