can someone whose read homestuck explain homestuck to people who haven't because I want to but the art style is bad
it's a comic formatted like a retro adventure game. it constantly shifts from largely static panels and text, to fully animated sequences, to playable minigames.
it's about four kids who play a reality-warping video game. then some aliens get involved who fuck with the kids. then four more kids show up. then twelve more aliens.
it's a good read for the most part, but its narrative can get... tangled. a lot of it's told in a non-linear fashion, and it spans multiple timelines and universes.
also there's a lot of text. especially once the aliens show up. don't delve into it if you're not prepared to read a *lot* of dialogue.
