"Splatoon is a multimedia franchise based around a series of third-person shooter video games developed by Nintendo" [1]. It features inkling|Inklings as the main characters, with octarian|Octarians and octoling|Octolings as the main villians. However, there are some good octoling|Octolings such as Marina_(Splatoon)|Marina from the band Off_the_ hook|Off The Hook and Agent_8_(Splatoon)|Agent 8.
"Splatoon" is also the name of the first Splatoon game which came out on the infamous Nintendo Wii U.
Mind control is a concept that features regularly in Splatoon, with things like the hypnoshades.
