Story - The girl's head was buzzing with thoughts and memories. Images flashing in her mind as she tried to collect her thoughts...

Who... Who was she?

Part of her remembered her life growing up, having lots of friends, having sleep overs, writing poems... She remembered her first kiss, Derrick Richter. It was a little sloppy, but a nice memory. They dated for three weeks before his family moved. She started wearing more dark colors, dyed her hair... She started arguing with her parents... They just didn't understand what it was like being a young girl...

But then there were the other memories, distant ones, confusing ones. They were memories of a guy, old guy... well, not that old? Older than her by quite a bit... she thought... he had gone somewhere, some building... talked with a large bearded man. They talked about a deal.
They shook hands.

"Your wish is granted..."

The memories got harder to remember, the man's face fading as Jade rubbed her head. The last hints of her old hair color seeping away to her roots before vanishing.

"What... What was I doing?" She looked around, she was in school. Had she been here the whole time?

"Jade! Hurry up or we'll be late for class!" A girl waved her on, "Quit spacing out!" A familiar girl...

"C-Coming, Cass!" Jade waved, picking up her book bag. She'd have to worry about this stuff later... whatever it was... she couldn't... She shrugged, it must not have been that important. She smiled and caught up with her friends,

"So, are you excited that Derrick is moving back?" Cass smirked, nudging her arm.

Jade felt the blush cross her face as she tried to hide her smile, "I can't wait..."
