Okay, my reaction post out of the way, let's get to the topic at hand, shall we?

I think I'll do the same as Mindwipe, and break it into parts. Otherwise (and possibly regardless) this will quickly turn into a behemoth of a post.



Plenty of people. Mindwipe, Lunakiri, Henry-killenger (Cthulhu), RebKMG (Mugi), Fossilbrand, Stem_Cell, Kinkyloli, etc. I'm sure that most of them would say the same about me, yes.



Well...

I met Mindwipe on Hypnochan. I was pushing the smudge method to manipping empty eyes like a preacher would preach or a salesman would convince a buyer. It caught his interest, and he basically became my apprentice for a short while, until he got to the point where he was about as good as me. Maybe not as quick, but his eye for detail gives him a killer accuracy for cleanly emptying eyes.

Lunakiri, if I recall, I met on the old booru site. Her art style at the time, while still unrefined, had a charming, unique quality to it, and I saw potential in her work (which she argued wasn't there, that pessimist). Anyway, she was selling super-cheap commissions (still is, as far as I'm aware), and I bought a few from her. We just sort of hit it off after some time.

Henry I met here. I actually saw someone in FFXIV with the same name, and inquired him, here, if he was the one I saw (although I knew the chances were slim). It wasn't, but we ended holding a small conversation. Later on, in Nadia's crazily-large introduction thread (unofficially titled Club Nadia), we ended up chatting more, as a group, and that deepened a sort of comradery we all had.

I'd go on, but the story for the rest of them are largely the same. We met on this or a similar site, ended up just sort of chatting for whatever random reason, and hit it off. I'm a generally good fellow, and I'd like to think I'm friendly with just about everyone I meet, here or otherwise. I have more friendly acquaintances than I can count, too, so my I seem to be on the right track with that.

As for your question about what we have in common? Well, as a whole group, not much. We just get along well.

All it takes is some conversation. If you want to make some pals here, all you have to do is find an excuse to talk and do so. The rest comes naturally.

I feels weird to stay I'd consider people around here friends, despite having met them on Hypnochan, and known them there as mostly under a different name all together and mostly lurking. ^^;

Well, I consider most people I've talked to here as "friends", since you guys are all an awesome bunch. It's surprising how this is a friendlier forum than many others, considering the subject matter largely revolves around fapping.

Also, I do like Mindwipe because he's a nice fella. But I troll him enough so that he hates me. You can't blame me, Mindwipe's so cute to troll!

I kept my list to just those I've spoken extensively with in private.

Although I gave a joking answer I can't really say who my friends are on here. Is just too many to name and some people are only on the chat while some are on here. But I'm always willing to converse with people. I'm always up learning and making new friends. I'm also more willing to try new things than when I was younger.
Right more on topic, I would say that if we talked and we poked fun at each other then we're cool. Or if Stem_Cell gives you a really cool collar then you're good.

Well I wouldn't blame you since I often do find myself making people avoid me as much as possible simply because social interaction is an annoyance for me, I am introverted to the max.
I prefer my online life, the real me exists on the internet.

As for getting to know me:
-My favourite past times are drawing, video games, and anime.
-My favourite anime is Madoka Magica, Kyouko is mein waifu
-My favourite games are TF2 and Portal 2
-If I act like I am a sarcastic narcissistic asshole it means I'm comfortable with you and see you as a good friend
-I prefer when people brutally critique my original content or art rather than praise it so I can improve

Ahhh... Maybe I shouldn't have said that. To be honest, our personalities sound pretty similar IRL. Except in my case, I tend to come across as slow to most people due to my depression.

I've been meaning to watch Madoka Magica. I here it's like no other.

Anyway Madoka is totally worth a watch, it's the only show that made me feel really sad next to steins;gate, which surprised me because I have very little empathy and I'm a sadistic little bastard so getting emotional over a bunch of little girls was a bit of a shocker. Plus I'm going to see the third movie in a local theatre on sunday. god I love madoka

Is it weird that I watched Madoka, kinda liked it, but still don't know what the hype is about?

It's cuz when it first came out everyone expected a bland, generic magical girl show but it took a very dark turn and broke away from a bunch of the tropes basically proving that any genre is capable of being great. I came into it hoping to watch something stupid and mindless with a bunch of flat characters and was then given characters with depth and a story that was actually interesting. It's not everyone's thing and if you already know its going to be something dark its going to lose a lot of what it makes it good but still a great show regardless.

Different people like different things. You can't expect to touch everyone with one hand.
(That sounded way weirder than I meant it too... -I kid, it really didn't-)



I really wish manipping did incite such enthusiasm around here. No offense to anyone, because everyone's great in their own way but very few people put the level of effort into their manips that you and a few others do. I think I might be one of the few people out there that sees it as an art form.
