In this dystoptic future, the govt no longer practiced death sentences, they have initiated a new program where death row convicts with heavy crimes are to have their mind totally erased and replace with a new 'programmable' identity. The govt believed in a second chance, every living citizens is a resource from manpower to tax.

Erased Convicts (EC) will then be relocated in the most remote towns in the furthest region, their feature might be minimally altered with a new identity. Minimal due to the govt budget constraints. The EC were made to believed that they were under some kind of witness protection program and that they life is under threat and they must remain vigilant from being discovered. Traveling to major cities are not advisable.

The program was eventually privatized even though the outcome of this program are still considered to be in an early experimental stage. MemoryCORP were awarded to take charge of the program, they have developed new mind transferring technology where the EC minds are not just erased but can also be replaced by the minds of the paying clients. Package includes a total plastic surgery makeover of the EC before they begin the mind transfer (so that the client don’t need to endure the pain from the procedure).

She was the first female death row convicts to undergoes the new program under the MemoryCORP directive.
Her past is slowly erodes, and her future remains unknown.[/spoiler]
