I wish that I knew how to read Japanese
Here's a quick lesson -- hopefully your device can show Japanese text:
ハイグレ is written in katakana, one of the two syllabary scripts used in Japanese. It's a nice starting point, since none of these are repeated.
ハ is read as "ha" as is "ha-ha" or as the "ho" in "hot" which this picture is.
イ is "i" and is pronounced as in most romance languages like the "ee" in "feet" or the "ea" is "please."
グ is "gu" and is pronounced like the word "goo" but a bit shorter. It is the voiced version of ク (ku) which is pronounced like the word "coo".
レ is "re" and is pronounced like the words "ray", "lay", and "day", but a bit shorter -- English doesn't exactly used the sound the Japanese "r" represents, and the Japanese use their "r" to represent both the Enlgish "r" and "l" and can sound close to the English "d" in some cases.
If you want to learn more, I'm sure we can find you some websites with lessons on reading hiragana and katakana -- kanji is the hard part of learning to read Japanese fluently, and you can probably become a decent sight-reader of hiragana and katakana in a few months of study and practice. Once you start gaining sight-reading skills, you can start to learn what words mean :)
