We have an "advertisement" tag. That's as clear an indication as any that advertising one's Patreon is allowed here.

As far as I can tell that tag was originally for parodies of commercial advertisements (like hypnohub.net/post/show/2028 ) and was later applied to things like patreon advertisements. But maybe it went the other way and was retroactively applied, I don't know.

Well, I personally am going to block the artist tag of anyone who posts an ad. The whole "I'm holding your pron for ransoms! Pa yme monies or no nip an vegene for u!" teaser image thing disgusts me.
