Don't know if anyone else watched Walter Melon, but this moment always stuck with me growing up. They did an episode that was meant to be a riff on Back to the Future, but involved a lot more hypno-rays. Needless to say this improved things greatly.

I have no idea what this show is, but this is a great scene.
The show's called Walter Melon: Hero for Hire. The premise is that every episode a hero (or parody thereof) would end up in some trouble that would mean they couldn't save the day, so they'd hire Walter to take over for them. It's a pretty silly show, but fun in a 90s way. And the heroine (seen hypnotised here) was always the same woman, with a different name, outfit and personality, and that just hits my buttons in a 'I'd like to experience that' way :P
This *is* a fun episode ... I only knew about it a few months ago but a hypno ray being so important in the plot was neat.
Jamesy! I'm surprised you didn't cover it on your wonderful blog <3

Sounds like a Cartoon variation of the Eleventh Doctor and Clara (before he found the original).
