I do know of one older than this. A Felix the Cat silent cartoon. Some random guy practices hypnosis he learned from a book on Felix and a mouse, then Felix swipes the book to learn the trade himself.

Cool well guess I should have added "female" to my long specific mention lol
But does make me think now to 1800s photo reels and before that with art and paintings if anything hypno related back then. Surly some religious demon possession of some girls at some point
