Do you ever get the feeling Keilani lets Ash go just to catch the hero version of him again? I suppose it's natural. Tigress like her thrill in the chase.
That's actually the whole overarching thing! They are a couple to begin with anyway, but she finds it fun to have him be a hero for her to break time and time again. Doesn't hurt to bring a "popular hero" that she fabricated under her spell in front of the whole city either
