Via MP3's/Youtube videos: yeah, all the time. I can get relaxed enough that I know I'm hypnotized, but I've never experienced any of the phenomena that the people who can go into really deep, sonmabulistic states experience. The most remarkable hypnotic feeling I've ever had is the faint feeling of a tail and hooves I can kinda sorta get from pony hypnosis files, but it's a long way from me believing and seeing myself as being Fluttershy. I've also had success in the past with hands-free orgasm files, but it's really not nearly as difficult to think yourself to an orgasm as a lot of people believe. I've done it without the pretense of hypnosis before. (I mean, concentrating intensely on that body part can itself be considered a kind of hypnosis, but no more so than concentrating intensely as I write this.)
In-person hypnosis: not really. I've gone to hypnosis shows and tried to follow along with the induction in the audience without much success, I've never had the courage to go up on stage, but I don't know if it would actually make all that much difference if I did because every hypnosis show I've ever attended had the volunteers sitting on plastic or wooden chairs (since most of them have been in an educational venue anyway) and I'm someone who feels the need to lie down on a soft sofa or mattress to even get the mild hypnotized feeling. And even if I went to a hypothetical hypnosis show where there are beds or at least soft reclining armchairs, I don't know how relaxed I could actually get with an audience staring at me.
Never been hypnotized in a psychiatric or therapeutic setting. The closest I've come to that is guided relaxation in a couple of classes, which I suppose is just hypnosis for people who are afraid of the H-word, but it didn't really have much of any effect on me even compared to even just listening to MP3s at home, probably because of the "hard chair" issue I mentioned before.
I wish there were more hypnotists that did one-on-one hypnosis for recreational purposes. Not even sexual, just for people that want a fun hypnosis experience without going on stage. I know there are thousands of people who do that kind of thing on Skype, but the hypnotists are usually amateurs, I'm too camera shy to try it, and I'm skeptical that it would be nearly as effective as being hypnotized one-on-one in person.
