This will contain spoilers, but... I'm not entire sure what it's spoilers for...

I remember catching the tail end of this movie on TV. Maybe the last 15 minutes or so? I'm not entirely sure of everything since it's been a while and I have no real context of the rest of the movie but... here's what I can remember.

It seemed that the main guy and... I believe his little sister? Maybe a girlfriend? Not sure... but they were on the run from the townsfolk. Somehow, he had come to know that everyone in this town was brainwashed or something, and they wanted to capture him and the girl and brainwash them too.

They end up capturing them, and they stick the girl in some kind of machine and I believe it was going to like... stick her in the eye with something, and that would brainwash her. I think.

But somehow, I can't remember how, the guy saves the girl and she escapes, but they end up capturing him. The movie ends with him being an accepted member of the town or something like that. Sorry about all the vagueness, It's been a long time and like I said, I only saw the end.

Any idea what this is?

Kinda makes me think of stephord wives either the original or the remake.

Sounds a whole lot like Dagon.

Nah, it's not either of those. Definitely not Dagon as it was set in a normal-looking modern town.
