Oh hey, a mind control plot involving Carol Danvers that's far better than Avengers #200. And I only burst 7 blood vessels this time around saying the name of that utterly fucking awful comic.
What, Ms. Marvel?

What, Ms. Marvel?
Avengers #200 had a famously shitty, creepy plot involving mind control, involving Carol.
Tu summarize: Carol is suddenly pregnant (like, out of nowhere), gives birth in a hurry, child grows up to an adult in less than a day, turns out child is his own father as well, and basically used mind control to be able to do this.In the end when he has to return To His Own Dimension, Carol goes with him because she's still attracted to him. The other avengers are shockingly OK with everything going on here.
It's even creepier than I'm making it sound.
The story was so reviled than none of the writers involved take credit for it, save for the editor who I believe said "I don't remember this at all but it must have happened under my watch". When Carol returned, it wasn't retconned away and she was understandably upset about the whole situation.

That's just the Star Trek TNG episode The Child.
You say that, but I'd argue that it's even WORSE than the TNG episode
