Remake of my old "Lure of the Huldra" pic, featuring me and the lovely Zombieslavegirl (Amanda) as the huldra's new victims. (I'm the fat girl in the green shirt... this is the first time I actually drew myself in my classic style and not as a chibi or a semi-realistic painting.)
Long story short, Amanda's writing a story based on the original picture, and asked if she could use me as a character in it. In the end, and since I wasn't 100% happy with the colours of the original pic, I decided to update the drawing with a more story-accurate one... and update the colours while I was at it.

Thank you, but I'm not saying it as a self-deprecating thing, it's just a descriptor. I am fat. My belly is fat. I have a fat ass. Not saying I like having fat jokes hurled at me, but I think the constant overuse of euphemisms like "plus-sized" or "big-boned" or "curvy" "queen-sized" is going too far the other way. That's just walking on eggshells, which I kind of find even more insulting.
Well, actually, "queen-sized" sounds kind of cool. But still. I'd rather just be straightforward about the fact that I am, in fact, a fat girl.
Oh, and hang all those people who go "real women have curves" and "bones is for the dogs" or similar... that's just too girl-on-girl hate-y for my tastes. I can accept myself without having to diminish other people.

And yeah, nothing wrong with being fat. Well, as long as you're not unhealthily so, at least.
