While I don't want to make any sweeping accusations nor start any drama, I would like to ask if the artist traced for this.
I did not. However I am flattered that my art is somehow good enough to make someone believe it may have possibly been traced.

Alright, was just checking. I'll leave it be.

Even if the artist had traced, so what?
The site is full of manips that don’t even bother to do that much... they simply scribble on top of someone else’s art directly. Would be ridiculous to remove somebody’s art for tracing, and leave all the manips up.

I'm pretty sure the difference between traced art and manips is that tracing is inherently trying to pass off work as your own while manips are more like paying homage. It's why the site had a problem with manippers putting their own signatures on top of the art.
Basically, it's the difference between openly borrowing art versus making a counterfeit. It all comes down to "intent". I don't care for either, but that's my understanding at least.

@Jesh summed up my thoughts pretty clearly. I ask to not have an argument break out about this here in the comments, as tracing will not be allowed on the site period.
