It had to be here. Jett knew it.
Her client had paid rather handsomely for her to find and steal some valuable item, knowing that her control over wind would make this mission easy. The Agent snuck past every guard without a single alarm raised, and now she had her target in sight.
A masterfully crafted staff, topped with a silver owl's head.
Why exactly was this thing so important? Jett had been questioning this whole time why her client had wanted this little walking cane in particular, or why it was stored in a weapons stash with portable cameras, gas canisters, and other devices.
All they had stated was that it was the only thing they would need, and that Jett was not supposed to make eye contact with it, whatever that meant.

"Alright, here's what you needed me to get." Jett handed the staff over to her client. "What's so special about it, anyway?"
"Let me show you," they simply said, gently twisting the owl head. All of a sudden, its eyes lit up, flashing a dazzling red light that consumed Jett's mind.
She barely had a second to register anything before she went complete blank, every ounce of free will fading away until she was a husk. Jett let out a weak sigh signalling her surrender. Had she a thought left in her empty head, she would have been able to realize just how important that staff was.
"There we go, a perfectly brainwashed Agent for the Valorant Protocol. You know, you had a chance to join us freely, but I suppose not everyone is willing to show a little compliance on their own. What do you have to say to my offer now?"
"Agent, reporting in," Jett mumbled in response.

Welcome Valorant to hypnosis... I thought it'd be Viper with hypno gas the first entry but I love Jett as well.
